SUMMARY


As a member of the Mixer Business Unit, the Program Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and executing cross-functional business projects to address the service needs of our customers. Ideally, this role provides engineering expertise and oversight to drive effective solutions, as well as developing and delivering specific measured results to the business based on prioritization of product support strategy. The Program Manager works with Operations, Engineering and Warranty functions to assure project milestones, cost, schedules and performance goals are met.





ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



+ Develop and own project plans and goals; revise as appropriate to meet changing business needs and requirements while pushing for on time completion.


+ Effectively apply OSK methodology and enforce project management standards cross-functionally.


+ Coordinate with cross-functional partners to define resource needs; develop schedules and methods for measuring results.


+ Plan and drive completion of all project phases to ensure on-time completion of the project within approved budget.


+ Assemble and coordinate project team members; assign and hold individuals responsible for progress.


+ Coordinate and manage project communications between project team members, customers, and senior management.


+ Track, analyze and report project status to ensure that costs, schedule and delivery of project are under control and properly managed.


+ Prioritize projects based on business need while minimizing business exposure and risk.


+ Track, analyze, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.


+ Ensure applicable legal and product safety requirements are addressed and accounted for.


+ Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.






BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



+ Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field


+ 6-plus years related experience






PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



+ Master's degree in Project Management or PMP certification


+ Previous experience in manufacturing environment (familiarity with Lean & Six Sigma, a plus)


+ Ability to synthesize project information and apply strong project management skills/methodologies


+ Knowledge and experience executing cross-functional projects on time and within budget.


+ Skilled communicator to all levels of the organization, including senior management
