Why Mayo Clinic

We are looking for a full time Supervisor to help lead our Office of Access Management in SEMN. Office of Access Management handles the scheduling and registration function of the practice. This position will be based out of Red Wing, but will also support staff at multiple campuses throughout SEMN including Cannon Falls and Lake City. Position description

Supervises and directs professional and support staff for the Office of Access Management (OAM), ensuring effective use of employees, equipment & materials within budget & quality standards. Performs tactical planning and carries out strategic plan. Ensures staff has the resources to carry out their responsibilities. Optimizes staff productivity and service; resolves work place problems of staff and processes; develops procedures and guidelines. Possesses the technical knowledge of the function being supervised. Implements retention planning initiatives. Participates in the overall management of OAM teams through involvement in Enterprise-wide projects, work groups, task forces, councils, and committees. Serves as liaison between area of responsibility and other constituents inside and outside of Mayo. Requires travel. Supervises scheduling and check-in desk staff at the following sites: Cannon Falls, Lake City, Red Wing, Zumbrota, Ellsworth and Plainview.


Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant management experience. Relevant experience includes lead roles, project/committee leadership, and/or supervisor experience.

Additional qualifications

Possesses PC skills, both keyboarding and applications. Knowledge of and experience with Finance systems and applications preferred.

Compensation Detail

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $1929.60, based on a full-time position.

Primary hours will be Monday-Friday, daytime hours. Schedule will flex at times to support staff that work a variety of shifts-including weekends
